We went to a car show on Saturday, not because Daddy and I are really that into cars, but because it was going on in our town and we like to contain our kids to short car rides check out the local scene from time to time.

Here’s some of what we saw:

I have no idea what this is, and the picture is kind of boring, but what the heck are those little springs?  They look a bit delicate to be in a car in my opinion.  Which clearly, is so important and influential over the car industry.

Now these cars, under what I call  the 101 Dalmations category, were fun to look at.

Except for they made me want to go adopt a furry animal of some kind, and I’m not even sure I like the ones we’ve got.

This one I liked because it was red.  Isn’t there some male code that all restored cars from this era should be candy apple red?  This one was not candy apple red, but I liked it anyway.

There wasn’t anything super awesome about this truck, other than the color.  It’s Monkey’s favorite color, so obviously that makes it show worthy.

These tires were interesting to me.  Not just because of the smiling face in the mirror, but because I was looking around our little town wondering how the heck people drive on dirt roads, snow, etc. with these tires.  Back in the day, didn’t people use these cars to drive across prairie and discover new land?

I am not sure I am the best one to take to a car show, but clearly if you’d like a very studious assessment of something, I’m your gal.

I’ll be sitting by the phone, waiting for you to call.
