As promised, I have been continuing to work on the images I captured last weekend of this sweet family.

Typically when I am capturing a family, I start with the kiddos.  They are usually excited and silly and it allows me to capture some of the faces that normally only mom and dad get to see.  It also allows them to burn off some of the energy while getting used to the camera and constant clicking.

This usually makes for more relaxed family pictures.  Sometimes I am not able to capture a ton of everyone together because I typically work in a photojournalistic styling, but this family seemed so natural when together so it worked.

And, I am pretty sure having your face smashed by this little guy helped calm the nerves.

I have to admit I have over 100 edited photos so far of this family, and I haven’t even gotten to the outside portion of our session!  This seems to be happening more and more lately.  I just can’t help myself; I love what I do!
