I haven’t had all that much energy lately, thanks to the Miracle Man and his crazy antics, but it has given me a good opportunity to refocus on my family and our home.  Daddy and I have gotten our home back into pretty good shape, and thanks to some lovely non-paying clients of Daddy’s we are going to let our housekeeper go in an attempt to help our debt snowball.

I have to admit, the money stuff has been such a Debbie Downer lately.  I have had two very dear friends use that term, Debbie Downer, when talking about themselves, or situations, and even though the SNL skit makes me chuckle, DD and I may be BFF’s soon because I am feeling it, sister. (and brother!)

On a brighter note, Disney is right around the corner, and we have the cash set aside in our emergency fund account.   I am sure many of you Damn Ramsey lovers would be scolding us for going to Disney when we have debt, but whateves.  It was a decision Daddy and I made for our family, and we’ve never gone on a family vacation before, so we are pretty excited.  The fact that we are doing it on all cash is something I am pretty proud of us for!

My new camera has been put off for a bit, and I am bumming about that, but I am just so thankful for the one I have, and for the fact that I get to make money doing something I love with the equipment that I have.  Isn’t that the American dream!?  Not to sound like a spoiled brat, but I do have to keep reminding myself that people took amazing pictures 100 years ago, because I am seriously obsessing about ordering that bad boy.

Guess what?  My blog is going to be featured on Mamapedia Voices at the end of this month.  Don’t quote me on the timing, but that’s the word I’ve gotten so far.  Wish me luck on that.  I really don’t want to fall flat on my face in front of the blogosphere.  Heck, I don’t really want to fall flat on my face even if I do it privately.

Journey group starts up again tomorrow, and I am ready!  We are going to do the Fireproof study, and it’s been a while since we’ve had a marriage class or study – so it should be a good study!  We don’t have child care nailed down, which is frustrating … so if you know anyone who’d like to get a free meal + $3 per kid (about $26 per meeting) on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, please please please leave me a comment.  Even if you don’t know anyone, but want to give a shout out, feel free. 😛

Love ya all to pieces.
