I cannot believe it’s over a month since I’ve really blogged!  As you know, my site was down as we did a complete overhaul and added my photography business.  The downtime was exciting for me because of the anticipation, but I’ve concluded between my site and the MOPS site, I am Daddy’s worst nightmare when it comes to being a client.

Speaking of Daddy, he has a few significant contracts in the works (one of which is now under contract) and if they all come to fruition, we will be set for our Disneyland trip!  More to come on that…

On a personal note, I changed doctors (once again) and I am now seeing a holistic hippie doctor.  My first appointment with Hippie Doctor was different, but it’s only been about a week and a half, and I have made some pretty major changes and I feel fantastic.  We have become a gluten free family, which I am pretty proud of since we are both Italian and you know we are lovin’ ourselves some pasta.  In addition to going gluten free, I started giving myself a B12 shot (!) and taking some other supplements.

As I am sitting here typing this, Hippie Doctor just called and said I do not have full blown Celiac’s disease, however I have a high sensitivity to gluten, so I need to stay gluten free.  On a positive note, it is so easy to shop GF now (although a little more expensive) and we are getting Sprouts in town so it will be even more convenient in a couple of weeks.

On another positive note, Caterpillar’s skin condition has completely gone away for the first time in his life! His skin looks and feels so soft and kissable now, he’s pretty irresistible.

With the launch of my new site came lots of new clients! It has been so much fun getting to know each family, and I had the opportunity to shoot some burlesque style photos for a dear friend to be given to her husband for Valentines Day.  They were so fun and we just talked the whole time I was shooting.  She asked me to come reshoot when she reaches her final weight loss goal and I am already looking forward to it!

Monkey is doing fantastic and has really started to read well.  She was recently accepted into Renaissance and we are very excited!  We had prayed a lot about her acceptance and finances because the Kindergarten program is $350 a month since it is an all day program.  However, God provided peace throughout the whole process, and we know that is where He wants her to be.

We are going to Skate City for Monkey’s birthday and I am in the process of planning a party for the adults in the family… more to come on the gluten free lady bug cupcakes I have planned!

With everything that is going on, I just constantly think of how blessed we are that God provided a huge step forward relating to my health in His perfect timing.  Our lives have become a whirlwind, but with me being on track to be healthy again I am able to keep up and enjoy my family and my work now more than ever.

Lastly, I wanted to remind everyone that if you provide feedback about our new website, I will email you a coupon for 10% off all services provided by More Sugar Than Spice!  The coupon is good towards sessions and Keepsake work, and there is no expiration date, so let me know the good, the bad and the ugly.  You can leave a comment here or email me to qualify, and I look forward to hearing your perspective!
