There’s a whole lotta newness going on around here. Happy new year and welcome to More Sugar Than Spice 3.0!
Not only do we look and feel a little different than we did previously, but we hope that you’ll notice we are different from other photographers.
We still release the rights with our images. We still come to your home or on-site location for no additional charge, and we still don’t do a bunch of posed images.
What we have added is [intlink id=”2566″ type=”page”]labor and delivery sessions[/intlink]. After doing my first labor and delivery session, I quickly realized this is where I am supposed to be. I love people. A huge part of what makes us human is the ability to love one another. Labor and delivery sessions are the perfect expression of that love. I am seriously addicted.
Another thing I am now doing is focusing on what I have a gifting for. I have come to realize, that’s not everything in the photography world. My style lends well to emotional, personal connection. It’s intimate and personal. I love natural light and how people look in that light. Not everything people need captured lends well to my style. I finally understand that concept and I am finally confident enough to embrace it. I never want to be a Jack of all trades, and a master of none.
Thank you all for helping me grow and realize who I am as a photographer.
I hope you enjoy the new moresugarthanspice.com and I can’t wait to be part of your lives in 2011 … and don’t forget to join me on Facebook, so you don’t miss a thing!
Hi Angie! I browsed the new site yesterday. Love it! I am excited about your new venture into L&D. What an amazing opportunity to have someone invite you into such an awesome experience. I wish I had someone there at the birth of our first daughter!
I was introduced to a non-profit organization through friends who lost their daughter shortly after her birth. Not sure if this might be something you’re interested in, but thought I would pass along. http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org
You have an amazing gift and kind heart. So cool to watch your talents grow!
Lori,
I am familiar with NILMDTS and I absolutely find their work amazing and a wonderful gift.
I would love to work for them at some point, but emotionally I am not sure I could handle it. Every time I go to their website I just bawl. I can’t even imagine being in the room.
Maybe someday, when I grow up. 😛
